Simplified version of the IGSA specifications


DECK: The deck must be structurally sound and not pose a safety hazard. It must not possess sharp edges, which could injure riders. It may be any shape within the size limits.

WEIGHT: Full setup cannot exceed (7kg / 15.4lbs).

LENGTH: (140cm / 55”) maximum.

WIDTH: (305mm / 12”) maximum.

TRUCKS: The trucks must be lean steer activated. They may be commercially available or custom built. 
They must be no more than three hundred five millimeters (305mm / 12”) wide, as measured from the outside edge of the axles. The axles cannot protrude past the edge of the wheel.

BEARINGS: Any bearing that fits into a hub designed to fit standard 608 Bearings(outer diameter 22mm, bearings designed for 10mm axles are allowed).

WHEELS: Wheels can be a maximum diameter of one hundred thirty millimeters (130mm / 5 1/8”).

Required protective equipment:
CE certified helmet(paragliding helmets are allowed)
Kneepads
Gloves

Optional protective equipment:
Racing leather suit
Full Face Helmet
Gloves specially made for longboarding with slide-pucks in the palm

Please note: If a participant’s gear doesn’t qualify to these simple requirements, the participant will NOT be allowed to race.
