RULES FOR KAYAKING TEAM RACE

Be safe and have fun!

1. Paddle the river within your own ability.
2. Team safety first. You are your own safety team.3 members in each team.
3. Each team member must carry throw bag, river knife and a wrap kit.
4. The course is divided in two parts with a mandatory portage between them. Each part will be timed and added together.
5. Official training is mandatory, and must be done Wednesday between 1500 and 1700. Sign in and out for training at the parking lot next to finish line.
6. Each team member must attend briefing by start (top of the waterfall above start) at 16:30.
7. Maximum distance from first to last member of the team is maximum 20 seconds.
8. Your boat must be a creekboat.
9. If another team catches you up you must let them pass safely.
10. If you see another team in serious trouble you must stop and help out. The helping team will get a second run.
11. Stay by the take out until the next team has finished safely.
12. Each team start with 2 min between each other. Start and finish will be announce at mandatory training.
