Equipment Rules - Horgi Ned

Skiing:

1. Skies of your own choice
2. Helmet

Biking:

1. Bike of your own choice (only one bike on the whole course)
2. Body armour
3. Full face helmet
4. Leg and knee protection


Kayaking:

1. Length of the Kayak: The kayak may have a length of 270cm maximal. Only mass produced Creeker/white water Kayaks that meet the newest safety standards are allowed. The race organizers reserve the right to refuse admission to certain kayaks i.e. Eskimo Kendo, Dagger GTX, GT etc.
2. Helmet confrming to EN1385 Norm
3. A white water buoyancey aid conforming to EN393 Norm or ISO 12402-5 Norm
4. Sufficient protection against cold water, i.e. a dry suit or a neoprene suit
5. Rescue/safety: the kayak must be equipped with air bags. Every competitor needs a rescue setup including: throwbag, carabineer, slings.
