The river running high
Rafting teams, volunteers, spectators and organizers were ready for European Cup this morning at 10.30, lasting until 18.00 this afternoon. It was a long and exciting day according to person in charge Matt Clarkson.
Already after the first of two heats in the first discipline Slalom, the river raised high and the second heat was cancelled and the starting point moved.

Fun by the river side
From a spectators point of view, a good tip over lightens up the competition.
– Though it’s more difficult for us to keep it from getting dangerous, the high water levels give the spectators some good laughs, says Matt Clarkson, Head of rafting. – It was a close race and good fun, he says, summing up a good day in the river.
Finally he gives a big thanks to volunteers for getting as wet as the contestants throughout the day.
