Casiokids to Veko!!

Casiokids is one of few Norwegian bands that have received a central spot in the program at the Roskilde Festival this year. They will come straight from Roskilde to Ekstremsportveko - Voss, and we look forward to their vivid performance on Saturday the 3rd of July!!

Casiokids has already become a phenomenon. When international press discover and admire a Norwegian band, which sings in Norwegian, they definitely have something unique! Hailing from the same celebrated Bergen scene that has produced Datarock, Annie and Kings of Convenience, Casiokids were so-named for the beat-up old keyboards with which the band members first conceived their club-ready sound.

Casiokids produce first class electro-pop. Their music is playful and the energy level is high. Their humor is dominating and their strange lyrics just enhance this peculiar band. They get inspired from everything from afro-beat to synth-pop, and the result is a musical firework, which we are thrilled to see here in Voss!

Casiokids is currently out with their album “Topp Stemning på Lokal Bar” and they will release a new album already in August. They deliver a theatrical live experience, incorporating a blend of shadow puppets, video projections and animal costumes that is not to be missed. We look forward to present this vivid band on Saturday the 3rd of July!
